    10:35 AM – Monks chant Buddhist scriptures

    11:00 AM – Alms offering and food offering to the monks

    11:45 AM – Community lunch

    1:00 PM – Dhamma sermon (one discourse)

    1:30 PM – Offering of requisites and donations to the monks, followed by blessings

    2:00 PM – Monks and devotees perform the candle‑circling ceremony (Wien Tien) around the Ubosot End of ceremony

    Visakha Bucha Day – Meaning and Significance

    Visakha Bucha Day is the full‑moon day of the sixth lunar month. It commemorates three extraordinary events in the life of the Buddha, all of which occurred on the same day: • His birth • His enlightenment • His passing into Parinibbāna

    Because these three miraculous events coincide on this single full‑moon day, Visakha Bucha is recognized as one of the most important days in Buddhism. The United Nations has also designated it as an international observance known as Visak Day.
